Cyndi H We will probably stick with Mears Connect since 4-9 people is our average family group, each with a checked bag and carry on - we won't fit in a Lyft/Uber.

katiesrose Hi Len and Jim! I love listening to you every Shurmsday.
My husband and I just got back from a WDW trip. We used Magical Express to get to and from our Disney resort. We used Uber to go from our resort to 2 parks. It was quick and about $10 per ride. However we plan to return in October with our 2 small kids. I don't think we'll Uber with our kids w/o car seats.

I think on future trips, we would highly consider Mears Connect over Uber bc of the safety a big bus provides w/o car seats.

Len Testa & Jim Hill discuss the news of the week, including Disneyland’s new Magic Key program and the sample package rates that were recently revealed for “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.” They then begin a new series on the development of Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction.

Show Notes:

Over the course of this episode, listeners will learn about:

The opening of which attraction in January of 1987 helped Disneyland Park break its one day attendance record

What deliberately non-controversial piece of material did the Imagineers decide to have the Animatronic Joe Biden perform as part of his entry into WDW’s “Hall of Presidents”

Which rides, shows & attractions at the Disneyland Paris Resort are part of the introductory version of their Premium Access program

What does the range of seasonal room rates at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa suggest about how costly the packages for “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser” could get

Which Mickey Mouse cartoon from 1937 provided the inspiration for the very first Haunted House designed for a Disney Park
