As you listen to this soundscape, keep an ear out for:
How the sound that “Test Track” ‘s super-sized slot cars make as they speed around that stretch of outside track get more & more detailed / acquires more elements the closer you get to this Epcot thrill ride
Conversely, how the sound of “Test Track” vehicle almost disappears the moment you walk through the front door of this Future World attraction
That low computer beeping you hear right after boarding your vehicle (which is supposed to sell you on the idea that “Test Track” -- which originally opened in March of 1999 -- was in fact updated/made much more hi-tech when this Future World attraction was closed for 8 months for refurbishment in 2012)
How -- as your ride vehicle move along the interior track portion of “Test Track” -- the care & attention that the Imagineers put into creating a 360-degree soundscape for this hi-tech thrill ride becomes more & more evident
On the other hand, it’s also easy to identify when your ride vehicle has actually left the “Test Track” show building and is now zooming along the exterior track because this attraction’s soundscape suddenly gets very simple
