Sassybrit79 I just subscribed to your band camp thingy. And I’m sitting here driving to work looking at this like are you kidding me. I just listened to you walk to splash Mountain and ride the whole ride with no words and I am having the best day ever now because I miss Disney so much and I just got to ride splash Mountain on my way to work. So thank you for giving me what I didn’t even know I wanted I would now like Pirates of the Caribbean please LOL! about

We’re trying something different today, folks. An audio-only adventure where Len Testa takes you along as he travels from the exit of WDW’s version of “Pirates of the Caribbean” over to Splash Mountain. What’s it like to experience that attraction using only your ears? You’re about to find out.

lyrics

As you listen to this soundscape, keep an ear out for:

How the sound that you hear coming from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad changes from when Len’s walking up to Splash Mountain to when he’s actually riding on this Frontierland attraction

How -- especially in this far-quieter / COVID-19 version of WDW’s Magic Kingdom -- you can hear Brer Frog multiple times before you actually encounter that AA figure inside of this thrill ride

That moment when the music inside of this flume ride transitions from “How Do You Do?” to “Everybody Has a Laughin’ Place”

How many different bits of dialogue you get to hear coming from the Boot Hill Boys AKA that pair of vultures as your log chugs up Chick-A- Pen Hill

The way that the peal of the bell aboard the Zip-A-Lady is used so sparingly in Splash Mountain’s grand finale to occasionally accent “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah”
