Listen in as we wander down this wilderness trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park which is themed to Southeast Asia. Gibbons, Asian Tigers, Water Buffalo, and over 50 species of birds can be spied as we make our way through the ruins of a royal hunting lodge.

Over the course of this 15-minute-long recording, listeners will hear:
The Cast Member working in front of the Komodo Dragon enclosure explaining that -- because it’s only 70 degrees -- it’s a little too cool out these massive lizards. They actually prefer it to be 95 degrees with 70% humidity.
In the distance, the distinctive whistle of the Anandapur Rail Service (i.e., those former tea trains that take WDW visitors to the top of Forbidden Mountain as they experience “Expedition Everest”)
The thud of that door which lets you know you’ve now entered that Indonesian community hall which offers a killer view of DAK’s Bat Cliffs. Which is home to 32 bats of the Rodrigues Fruit & the Malayan Flying Fox species.
The gurgle of the numerous water features that run through Anandapur’s Royal Forest.
How the soundscape that the Imagineers put together for this self-guided / third-of-a-mile-long walking tour frequently features distant drumming. Which then gives this whole experience a sense of mystery (i.e., who’s doing all that drumming & why)
