Rastelllini i was beverage category manager for 7 years at WDW’s largest supplier. getting water during an emergency to florida or houston or san juan was immensely stressful and hugely rewarding.

the checklist for the dcs ahead of storms was insane. here’s an example of what 40 years of prep experience looks like. check that all the screws are in place on the access points for the roof top systems. contractors sometimes don’t put all the screws back in after maint. lyrics

Over the course of this episode, listeners will learn about:

Why is Disney’s Animal Kingdom typically the first theme park to close as a hurricane approaches and the last to open after a storm passes

What do the Disney Parks do with all of those trash cans prior to the start of a hurricane

Who gets to be a member of WDW’s hurricane ride out team

Why was the 2004 Hurricane Season the one that Disney World executives just can’t forget

What happens to people who are staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground when there’s a mandatory evacuation of all low lying areas at the Resort
